Be inspired, then pass on the inspiration.  Many good things are happening with Zip My Dress!

The Zip My Dress team had an amazing time at the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) conference in Las Vegas last week! There were over 4,000 female leaders and inspirers under one roof, and the energy was electric. Zip My Dress was founded to inspire women to be independent and reach for their dreams, and to not let any dress zipper hold them back. We were happy to spread the love at the WBENC Conference. We are THRILLED to be supported by leading Fortune 100 companies!

Zip My Dress was absolutely honored to be sponsored by Microsoft at the conference.

wbenc Female leaders from all over the nation supported Zip My Dress and visited our table in the Microsoft lounge. Microsoft even provided Zip My Dress zipper pullers as giveaways to all attendees of Ruth Hedges' eye-opening workshop on Equity Crowdfunding. A huge shoutout and THANK YOU to Fernando Hernandez, who leads the Microsoft Supplier Diversity program, for your unwavering support and belief in our product as we provide more ways for women to own their independence. As a certified woman-owned business (WBE), Zip My Dress is oh-so very honored and it is inspiring how Microsoft carries their mission of supporting women in business.

We were also privileged to win the Tech Industry Group (TIG) Scholarship! Zip My Dress will be featured in the TIG Marketplace on the Brojure platform. TIG announced their brand new release of the TIG Marketplace, which is a new centralized marketplace and database for top tech companies to use for procurement and sourcing needs. THANK YOU to Alex Alvarez from Apple for all your support in supplier diversity and women-owned businesses!

As part of the #TIGforHER social media campaign at the #WBENC17 Conference, there was a chance to win have a one-on-one mentorship with female CEOs who have succeeded over a billion dollars in sales. Zip My Dress was very happy to win the #TIGforHER Twitter contest and opportunity to meet the incredibly accomplished female leaders. Follow us on Twitter (@ZipMyDress), Facebook, and Instagram to see what else we're up to!

"We are not meant to see through each other, but to see each other through." - Randal Pinkett, the winner of NBC's Season 4 of The Apprentice. Randal enlightened us all at the closing keynote and spread his knowledge on wholesome entrepreneurship. We were also inspired by Oscar-winning actress Octavia Spencer from Hidden Figures and The Help, who spread the message that we should support other women, be a strong advocate, and leadership is how you spend your money.

From the bottom of our hearts, we are deeply grateful for all the opportunities, wins, and support from leading companies as we continue to grow as a woman-owned-business. Thank you.
