At the Watermark Women's Conference, QVC and Zulily held a crowd-sourced competition to find exceptional up and coming retail-ready products from women entrepreneurs with an opportunity to have their products sold on QVC and Zulily.
Competing against over 20 other entrepreneurs, we brought our ‘A’ game and
pitched our innovative zipper pullers and premiered our sustainable lanyards to
the panel of amazing women judges including Albany Irvin, QVC host; Heather
McNicholl, Director of Vendor Education, Development and New Vendor
Discover, QVC; Julie Campbell, QVC Associate Buyer and Kerry Morris, Vice
President of Merchandising, Zulily. These judges gave Zip My Dress amazing product feedback and we were fortunately chosen to have our products featured on both Zulily and QVC.
We are so thankful for this incredible opportunity and want to acknowledge how
business opportunities such as these can be far and few between for woman
owned small businesses such as ours. We commend QVC and Zulily for
empowering women such as ourselves and helping them become successful business leaders.
